A shade of FUCHSIA

FUCHSIA
Business Bay – Dubai
RESTAURANT REVIEW
Friday night we visited the Winter garden market with my sisters family. The wind was chilly and the hungry mice in our tummies rose their mighty heads. Zomatoeing around we came across a restaurant ‘Fuchsia’ with a 4.2 rating in business bay area. Unanimously we all agreed to give it a shot. The cuisine here is Thai, Seafood and Asian. Fairly priced, with neat interiors, I immediately fell in love with this restaurant. Not at all crowded (a surprise for a weekend), I guess because its in an area with a cluster of offices. I am sure it is packed during lunch hours. The smiling waitress, her name was Clarice guided us to our table. She handed us the menus and we were ready for a delicious meal. We placed our order all at once since we had arrived quite late and were informed by Clarice that it would be the last order for the evening. We ordered for Chicken Tom Yum soup (mildly spiced hot and sour broth seasoned with exotic thai herbs, mushrooms and aromatic lemon grass). Pad thai CHicken (Stir fried noodles with bean sprouts, egg, garlic and ground peanuts). Cashew nut Chicken ( Crispy fried chicken, sauteed with sweet peppers and cashew nuts) which was served with an optional side of brown rice, Wok fried Quinoa with vegetables and for the drinks we ordered for the Fuchsia delight and Lemongrass iced tea.
The whole experience was amazing. What i loved the best was the Tom yum soup which I give 5 stars, The pad thai chicken which I give 4.5 stars. The wok fried Vegetables which I give 3.5 stars, The cashew nut chicken which I give 3.5 stars.
We found the wok fried vegetables too bland. Clarice, immediately offered to take it back and replace it with a new spiced up version which was good.
I highly recommend Fuchsia to anyone who loves thai cuisine and Asian food. I definitely want to try their seafood the next time I am here.
