Crazy is the new normal. I and my wife were invited to a food tasting at this – As Italian as it can

get- Boasting of Homegrown and Homemade ingredients- playing by its own rules. We arrived for a brunch setting on a lazy Friday afternoon least expecting to be blown away by its spectacularity. What truly amazed me was the Italian feel of the restaurant boasting of an all Italian Staff – Chef to the DJ. What awaited us in the next two hours was a gastronomical tantalizing meal filled with the taste of herbs as Italian as they can get. This was truly an Italian experience. We were greeted warmly by their Brand Manager  Giordana Attilio who patiently explained the concept and showed us the place. The decor was brilliant giving a feel of an Italian café. The Dj console neatly parked on top of a bright yellow scooter was quite interesting as the Dj belted out out some equally interesting mood lifting melodies. We filled our plates with Italian pieces of bread and delights as the Chef put together some masterpieces in the shape of Pizzas- Each one crisp, cheesy and herbilicious in every bite. We tried the Parmigiana-  with mozzarella, tomato, fried eggplant, Parmesan and rocket 78, The classic Margarita, and The Tartufo – Mozzarella , black truffle and green asparagus 92.  The herbs introduced themselves to our palates in turns as we savoured each bite. The barman Michel (hope I got the spelling right) – cause he did get the cocktails so awesomely right. The Cocktail which was fruity, medium bodied, having scents of apricots and a hint of golden apples hit the right spot followed by Sacra Sangria – Zonin prosecco brut, brandy, peach liqueur, homemade peach purée and fever tree soda. The experience was as Splendid as the service. We sauntered out feeling Italian and crazy as I sang to my wife ” l’amore mio sei tu”
