RESTAURANT REVIEW

Thursday night was my wedding anniversary. I surprised my wife and family by taking them to a wonderful restaurant in Dubai mall- 3rd Avenue Café. For beginners, this restaurant offers the best views of the Burj Khalifa and the water fountains. We were very warmly greeted at the entrance and guided to the best seats in the house. As the wonderful universe would have it, in a matter of a few seconds the water fountain show started and the entire family was mesmerized by the view and the close proximity to the worlds tallest building. as we watched the fountain show we were given  I pads that had the menu shining on us. Each page offered delicacies and mouth-watering details of the dishes. We started off with the zatar bread which arrived as quickly as we had settled. Next came the drinks the fresh carrot juice and the Rose lemonade, the strawberry mint, and the lemon mint. Taking swigs out of our drinks and biting into the deliciously warm bread. We decided on the orders for the evening. We started off with the rich creamy Mushroom soup  – 5 stars and⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the seafood soup 5 stars again⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Though a word of caution the soup is very creamy and rich which means you will feel fuller sooner. Next came the veg pizza 5 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the extremely thin cheesy crust and yummy toppings. The chicken burger with fries arrived next. 4 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐ The burger was delicious and the meat had a slightly chewy texture. The Risotto was ordered by the wife. This was 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐ it was not the usual risotto that we are used too. The Fresh rose lemonade kept flowing and the evening had us in a trance as the water fountain show commenced at every 30 minutes. Finally, with no space for the dessert, we reluctantly ordered for the pistachio pastry. with creamy pistachio sauce. The entire evening was well-choreographed thanks to the efficient services of our serving staff and the brilliantly smiling and suave manager Bret. The evening has been etched in our memories thanks to the titillation of our senses at 3rd Avenue café. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant which is as classy as its settings. My overall rating is 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
